Where does weight management fit in?

This is a common thing GP’s and the general population believe is important for health.  However, Kate will not put you on the scales or have a weight focussed approach.  Meeting your medical nutrition therapy needs, e.g. heart disease, oncology, diabetes, gut dysfunction etc. etc. is important however that number on the scales does not outweigh the importance of nutrient-dense food choices and a positive relationship with food, general stress management and physical activity.  Kate is more than happy to explore your desire to change your weight and introduce intuitive eating and work towards a focus of improving your health and body image.

Private Health rebates apply with Dietetic extras cover.  Kate also accepts Enhanced Primary Care Plans from your GP with a gap payment as out of pocket expense to you.
